Joan of Arc was 17 yrs old when she convinced the future King Charles to let her lead the French Army to lift the seige of Orleans.
He agreed.
She did just that before returning to the King and arguing her case to now go do the same in Paris - emphatic that if they didn't, the English would gain strength and occupy more of France. The King dismissed her and her ideas as unneccessary.
